Great store, TERRIBLE management! My 11 y.o. called went in and bought a whoopee cushion. Two minutes later, on the drive home, it popped -- splitting along the seam. We turned around and he returned to the store, and the worker called her manager, who said that since he had declined his receipt and wasn't a loyalty member, there was nothing they could do. No exchange, no credit, no refund. Unbelievable! I called the store and asked the clerk if she really hadn't remembered him from two minutes prior. She said she was just following her manager's orders. My son went back inside and the clerk gave him a refund, and commented that she hadn't refunded him the first time because she didn't want to get in trouble with her boss. Definitely not going back for the kinetic sand kit that he had been eyeing...

One of the calendars for sale was a Playmobil Back to the Future 3 advent calendar -- an oddly specific thing but I happen to have a child with a BttF franchise obsession and a Playmobil Delorean (the calendar came with mods) so I snatched it up, and now that Christmas is over and she opened the whole calendar I have to say it's one of the best gifts that she has ever received and I didn't even know such a thing existed before I went to Playnow! I brought my daughter back in the fall and she picked out a super cool Lego double decker bus and a Needoh squish for her birthday that she was really excited about. Super cool selection, staff is great, love supporting a cool local business.

If you need a unique or fun gift stay away from the big box stores and go here. The woman at the store was super helpful and extremely friendly. Playnow is going to make family game night a success every time!! We will be back very soon!!!

I purchased Ticket to Ride and 7 Wonders board games and was able to play that night rather than wait a long time for processing and shipping from an online retailer. I’ll definitely shop here again soon.
Dec 22, 2020 · Chelsea ParishAmazing store! Horrible owner! She is very RUDE to her employees and lacks a lot of sympathy. I'm sure she fakes every interaction she has with people so they don't know how rude and mean she truly is. Use this store as a LAST RESORT to buy for your kids.
