Le Tache Couples Boutique

My boyfriend and I got to the Chantilly location about 15 minutes before it closed at 9pm tonight… We understood before we ever even entered the store that we had to be quick and respectful of the hours of operation. But the woman behind the counter was nasty and harsh with her tone and demeanor from the moment we walked in. We felt rushed even more than we already were forcing ourselves to be and made a very rushed $49 purchase we regret making. This was legitimately due to the demeanor of the woman behind the counter. We tried to add the cheapest silicone lube there but it put us over our budget so we switched it to whatever random bottle of water based lube she could give us… and she angrily knocked over the silicone lube and let out a very unprofessional sigh. The whole exchange left us deciding to not even buy any lube at all. All this happened and it was only 8:58. Why the impatience? Why the rudeness? I’ll give Le Tache one star out of loyalty for coming to y’all for many years, but trust me… the woman behind the register gets ZERO stars.

I’ve been shopping at le tache for years, and when I stopped recently, I was charged a surcharge for using a credit card (much more than the typical 3.5% that is customary) and an additional surcharge for “inflation.” Neither of these charges were explained to me prior to my purchase, and once the transaction was approved, there were no returns allowed. I paid close to $17 for these erroneous charges that were not disclosed prior to my purchase. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to this store ever again. I did not appreciate the underhanded way they did things in my most recent visit, and I recommend you take your business elsewhere as well

What can I say? It's not just for couples. Also for singles and for those who are curious as to what all the trinkets are and how these mechanics work (NOTHING comes with instructions so there'sa lot of hypothesizing) - all created for all sorts of pleasures (or so they say... I'm still on the fence on that for some of the more interesting "accessories"). The place is fairly small (think the size of a dunkin donuts). The customers are quiet and the staff is helpful and discrete. The only one who is not discrete is me, who acts like a five year old - giggling and making jokes about my possible future careers... yeah... that's me. It's definitely nice now that you can go in a little more incognito by wearing a face mask (safety and health first, people!)

Overall experience, Phenomenal! As soon as I walked in. I was greeted and attended to my needs. They are knowledgeable on there products and provided good recommendations. I did buy the wrong item. But that was my own greedy fault. 😁 I highly recommend this location!

The overweight white woman tried to sell me and my girlfriend a pair of 60$ handcuffs. I told her that i will not spend 60$ for handcuffs and she looked directly at my girlfriend and said "he is telling you that you are not worth 60$" she indirectly targeted me trying to persuade me into buying those handcuffs in order to save my relationship. After i told her to mind her own business she immediately kicked me out of the store. She was very rude and tried to sabotage my relationship.
