I went in a while ago and something seemed off. Staff seemed clipped and strung out and never really staying in one place which kind of stressed me out. Everything seemed overpriced too. I honestly used to be on board with this business (possibly hoping to get my foot in on a career that sounds so positive) until I looked it up on Glassdoor. Wow what a mess! Can't believe the owner of this place would do that to such a decent and sex posi concept. Bummer city! Just goes to show how capitalism truly corrupts. As a queer person who believes in inclusivity and sex positivity I'm super disappointed.

Feb 03, 2025 · Bryce PantsI used to love shopping here. It was generally a very welcoming environment, and it's women-owned and queer-friendly (double bonus!) However, about two weeks ago, I had a very different experience when I visited the shop with a friend (Latino male). I felt the difference immediately. Staff did not greet us at the door, offer to help, or provide guidance like usual. It was not busy, just a typical Sunday afternoon, and it was obvious that we were getting watched. At one point, he accidentally knocked something down, and she rushed over immediately, took the container from him, and put it back on the shelf. She didn't smile, didn't offer to help, just asked if he had broken it and walked away. No one else who was working offered to help. It was uncomfortable and, honestly, very disappointing...I know they hire BIPOC staff, and I had, up until this very moment, thought that it was a safe space for BIPOC folks, but perhaps only for females or lighter-skinned minorities. I do not like writing negative reviews but I'm writing this in hopes that it starts a conversation with your staff. It's one thing to say that you are creating a safe space; it's another to address your implicit biases and truly create a safe space for minorities.
May 14, 2024 · PerlsBoth locations are so wonderful! I love how chic, cozy & personal it feels in the SE Division store and in the N Mississippi store! Yes, I've been to both! You should too! The diverse staff is super sweet and friendly, and helped me feel comfortable each time I've gone in. They show care and ease any nerves about such a personal matter and use gender affirming language, while carefully asking questions to navigate what I am looking for. Everyone should come by, for the staff alone, and the music! 😉 For solo, partners, friends, coworkers, whoever! And, I even had some fun exploring my options and I look forward to my next experience! 💕🍆🍑🌈🏳️⚧️😍🥰
Oct 24, 2023 · J DeKomI used to love this shop a few years back. This most recent visit felt off. Something about the products felt like they shifted a bit more towards mass market things you can get off amazon rather than good quality tested items. I got a vibrator I thought would be a good replacement for my old one and it is now a $100 brick. It will turn on, but it doesn't vibrate, the motor doesn't connect to the head and there is no easily visible way to take it apart and fix it. I need to find a replacement but I dont think it will be here, there is no way for me to know for sure I'm not wasting another $100 on a toy that will stop working after 3 months, convienently when the manufacturer warranty expires.
