Picture this, it's 70's, a strip tease bar opens up on Main Street called the Novelty. It's rather classy with wood paneling, gold curtains, a stage behind the bartender and ash trays are everywhere. The dancers take stage as onlookers watch in awe. Now it's 2025, the ashtrays, the majority of onlookers and all the dancers are gone, yes gone. The hint of stale Marlboros lingers in the curtains. The dancer (yes 1 dancer) was nowhere to be found, even though the bartender went looking for her multiple times. Come enjoy the uneven pool table, or watch the TV that showing last year's home run derby while sitting in the original and uncomfortable chairs. The bathrooms are clean though, but that's probably from the lack of customers. Go to the mall, spend $5 in the photo booth and you will be sure to have way more fun than this place

Mar 08, 2025 · Mark J. RadzikowskiIn town last weekend, found the Novelty Lounge 1.5 miles from my hotel. Stage is behind the bar. If you want to tip, you need to ball up your dollar and shoot it at the dance like a free throw, which I did repeatedly and it was fun. The lineup was decent, with two of the girls being worthy of stripping in larger cities. The only reason I only gave this club a 3 out of 5 was because there wasn't a back room. I had a great time and so will you if you have the right attitude.
Jul 26, 2016 · Andy GDive bar meets strip club. Go in there with a sense of humor and it will be a great time. Don't expect to see TOO much eye candy (hit or miss) but then again, don't expect to spend an arm and a leg either.
May 09, 2011 · Michael VittiglioGary rocks, fun locals dive bar. Was there without the"entertainment"but great place to have a drink. Only request... Makers Mark... This is a bar, not a restaurant...
Jun 05, 2017 · Chris CraigmileWent in and it was a ghost town, no dancers, 2 people at the bar and it looked like no one wanted to be there. Definitely don’t waste your time
