We had another awesome stop to see Max at Heroes and Hobbies late on a Saturday night in Beaverton! It was a great way to end our evening after a fun day out and about. We always enjoy getting an opportunity to chat with Max and see all the amazing items that he has available in his store. We were once again able to find several comics to add to my wife's and my collection including older Silver Age books as well as harder to find modern variants of some of our favorite titles and characters!! Max is always bringing in new merchandise and going through his incredible inventory to show us something we didn't see in our last visit. There are always more items that we would like to buy so we will definitely keep coming back. On this trip, we were just heading back out to our car when Max came running out to give my wife a free comic that he just wanted to ensure she had to go along with the others we had just purchased!! If you haven't visited Heroes and Hobbies, you definitely need to check out this one of a kind store. Keep an open mind and take the time to talk with Max to share what you like to collect. All the 1 star reviews seem to be from people who either had bad intentions or did not actually go in. The inside of the store is packed with gems in every direction. Coolest store ever!!!

Last time I was there the owner "Mad Max" told me I could come in if I could fit through the door. I'm big guy but that's a little far I think. I still. Very awkward interactions everytime but the guy has some really cool stuff, and a few hidden treasures, but for the most part it's not worth it. But I just had to go in one more time to see if the store was as bad as all the reviews had been saying. And they were far too accurate. Anyway, can't wait for "Mad Max" to attack and berate me for giving him my money!
